OUR COMPANY
Omas Investments and Trust Company Limited (OITC) was incorporated on July, 1998 with a mission to be a leading Investment Conglomerate proving Innovative and creative service to our clients globally through highly motivated professionals. It commenced business in December 1998.

OITC was appointed a dealing Member of Nigeria Stock Exchange (NSE) on 30 July, 1998. It was also registered by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as Investment Adviser, Broker/Dealer and Portfolio Managers. It has since been very active on the floors of Lagos Stock Exchange.

OITC opened a branch each in Ibadan and Abeokuta. Business commenced there 2001 and 2002 respectively.

OITC is one of the best capitalized Investment companies. It has a fully paid up share capital of N70, 000,000. In line with our vision as a leading and innovative investment Conglomerate, OMAS Investment And Trust Company is fully computerized from date of commencement of business and staff with seasoned Professionals.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Presently the board is made of highly respected individuals whose endeavours cut across almost every sector of the Nigerian Economy.

Very Brief profiles of these individuals are presented below.  

PROFESSOR ANTHONY ASIWAJU (Chairman)

Professor A.I Asiwaju is an erudite scholar and a prolific writer. He is a professor of history at University of Lagos. He is an expert in comparative borderline Studies with special reference in Border Problems and Regional integration in Africa.

He has many publications to his credit among, which are western Yoruba under European rule 1889-1945: A Comparative Analysis of French and British Colonization (1976); partitioned Africans; Ethic relations across Africa's International Boundaries (1984); artificial boundaries (1984).

Professor Asiwaju is the recipient of several scholarly Honors. In 1992 he was given the award of Outstanding International Scholarship and Services by the Association of Borderlands Scholarship, El Paso, Texas, and United State of America. He was also awarded the Leverhulme Trust Visiting Fellowship at the International Social Science Institute of the University of Edinburgh, United Kingdom, in 1996/97.

Professor Asiwaju was Commissioner (International Boundaries), Nigeria National Boundaries Commission between 1988 and 1994. He is married with children.

MR. OMOLAJA M.O. SADIKU ( Managing Director/Chief Executive)

Mr. Sadiku, a thoroughbred Banker, stated his banking career in 1969 with National Bank of Nigeria. He left National Bank in 1975 to join Barclays Bank DCO (now Union Bank of Nigeria PLC). In 1978 he became a staff of NAL Merchant Bank (then affiliate of American Express Bank) where he obtained a wealth of Merchant Banking experience. He rose from the post of supervisor to Deputy Manager (International Banking Operation) before leaving the bank to join Rims Securities from 1987 to 1988.

Mr. Sadiku has also been involved in consultancy services. He was responsible for establishing branches and international banking operations at Premier Commercial Bank, Gamji Bank Plc and Fidelity union Merchant Bank Limited.

Mr. Sadiku joined Nigerian Intercontinental Merchant Bank Limited in 1989 as a pioneer staff. He set up the banking operation department of the bank. His drive and ambition to excel in banking was evident in the various departments and divisions that he headed. His excellent performance in these various departments and divisions ensured a rapid rise from the position of Manager to Deputy General Manager.

He left Intercontinental Merchant Bank at the end of July 1995 to become the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Hill Merchant Bank, on August 1,1995, the bank was later called Global Bank Plc the bank was terminally distressed and was running at a huge loss. Mr. Sadiku succeeded in turning around the fortunes of the bank into a highly profitable and efficient operation before leaving the bank on Feb.28, 1998 to become the promoters and later, the pioneer Managing Director/Chief Executive of OMAS Investment and Trust Company Limited.

Mr Sadiku is happily married with children.

DR. ADEBIYI EDUN (Director)

Dr. Adebiyi Edun is a Medical Practitioner. He studied at the University College Hospital, Ibadan and did his internship with the same hospital between 1970 and 1980.

He was Medical Officer with police college Clinic Enugu in 1981 and was Senior Medical Officer with EKO Hospital, Lagos between 1982 and 1983. He later joined Health Aid Limited and rose to become Deputy General Manager in 1987.

He is a consultant to many companies, State Government and International Agencies including UNFPA, USAID, UNDCP, and UNDP. He is married with children.

OLAKUNLE D. OLUBODE (Director)

Mr. Olakunle D. Olubode is an Estate surveyor and Principal Partner of Kunle Olubode and Company, a professional firm of Estate Surveyor and Valuers. He is an Associate member of many Professional bodies among which are: Nigerian Institute of Estate Surveyors and Valuers; Chartered Institute of Arbitration; Rating and Valuation Associate of Grate Britain. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Mr. Olubode was a past Chairman of the Ogun state Branch of the Nigerian Institute of Estate Surveyors and Valuers and a member of the National council of the Institution. He was also an assistant Estate Officer between 1970and 1976 with the Western Nigeria Housing Corporation, Ikeja and occupied the post of Principal Estate surveyor with Ogun State Housing Corporation, Abeokuta between 1978 and 1985. He is married with children.
 
CHIEF CLEMENT O. KUFILE (Director)

Chief Clement O. Kufile is an Engineer by Profession. He is an accomplished industrialist with over 22 year's experience. He recorded remarkable successes in diverse fields of Engineering, Manufacturing, Construction and International Trade.

He is presently the Executive Chairman and Chief Executive of Qualitec Roofing Products Limited, and Non-executive Chairman of Clem Nigeria Limited and Industrial Ventures Limited. He is married with Children.

OPERATING MANAGEMENT

MR. ISRAEL C. ONYIA (Head of Cpital Market Operation)

Mr. Onyia holds Bachelor of Science (B.sc) in Accountancy from Anambra State University of science and Technology, Enugu in 1990 and Masters in Banking & Finance from Enugu State University of Science and Technology Enugu in 1993. He is an Associate member of Institute of chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers and the Certified Institute of Pension of Nigeria.

He had worked with Okwuosa & Co. chartered Accountants where he left as an Audit supervisor to Fund Tech. finance & investment Plc as an accountant where he had a brief experience; he left there for Diamond Bank to work as a Banking officer in 2001.

Mr. Onyia, a Chartered stockbroker joined Crane Security as a dealer-in training from there he rose to be one of their outstanding dealers. He joined OMAS Investments and Trust Co. Ltd in 2005 to head the Capital Market Operation Department. His experience in stock broking span through investment analysis, stock selection, portfolio design and portfolio management among others. He is married with a son.

MR. ADAMS E. KABIR (Investment Banking Group)

Mr. Adams holds a bachelors of science in Business Administration, majoring in Banking and Finance from the university of Maiduguri, in 1996. On completion of his N.Y.S.C program with First Bank plc, he joined Michael Oyedepo &Co (A Firm of Chartered Accountants) as a trainee accountant, between 1998 and 2000. Mr. Adams proceeded to the university of Benin for a masters degree in Business Administration in 2003, during this period , he worked with Prime Oil Company Ltd where was responsible for all accounting functions of the company and also Solid Rock Sec.& Inv. Co Ltd (A Member of the Nigerian Stock Exchange) Mr. Adams Joined Platinum Bank Plc now Bank PHB where he headed the northern zone of the investment banking team responsible for the highly successful private placement, a position he held before joining OMAS inv.& trust Co. Ltd in 2005.

Mr. Adams an astute Financial manager/analyst has attended various management and seminars among which are: Effective Financial management style and techniques, by Positive Image of London; Financial Structuring, by OAK Business School, Lagos. His experience in stock broking span through investment analysis, stock selection, portfolio design and portfolio management among others.

He is an associate and member of several professional associations amongst which are Nigerian Institute Management (Chartered), Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Chartered institute of Bankers of Nigeria, Chartered Institute of stockbrokers, Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria etc. He is blessed with a daughter.

MRS. OYESILE ABIOLA ADENIKE (Head Of Operations)

Mrs. Oyesile is a graduate of Financial Studies from the Lagos City Polytechnic from where she proceeded to the Olabisi Onabanjo University Ago Iwoye Ogun State where she obtained a bachelors degree in Economics. Mrs. Oyesile has attended various management courses amongst which is “Financial Analysis for Equity Investment Advice, organized by IBFC AGUSTO Training Ltd and “Financial Structuring” by OAK Business School. Mrs. Oyesile is an associate member of the Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria and a student of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers. She is married with a child.

MR. OYERINDE C. OLUSEYE (Ibadan Branch)

Mr. Oyerinde holds a bachelors of science degree in political science from the Obafemi Awolowo University in 1998,after completing his OND in financial studies from Osun State Polytechnic, Ire. He proceeded to Plateau State Police Command where he was the student instructor for the period of his N.Y.S.C. He was the key Distributor Representative for Olayinwola & Son ltd (A key distributor to Unilever Nig. Plc) between 2000 and 2001.

Mr. Oyerinde has also worked in several other organizations in different positions before joining OMAS Inv. & Trust Co. Ltd as an Investment Executive in 2004.He has worked in different department of the company before becoming the company’s Ibadan branch representative in 2005 a position he hold till today.

MR. MALAOLU OLUFEMI SUNDAY (Abeokuta Branch)

Mr. Malaolu holds a bachelors of Science degree in Economics from the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma Edo State in 2005, after completing his Higher National Diploma in Accountancy form the Polytechnic Ibadan. He has worked at various levels and departments of the company before becoming the Manager of the Abeokuta branch of the company in 2006.

MR. ABIOLA OKOYA (Sango-Ota)

He is a product of Lagos State Polytechnic where he studied Insurance. His working experience started with Yacotech as Sales Representative. He joined Omas as a Marketing Executive where he rose to become a branch manager.

MISS LEMBOYE SERIFAT ABIKE (Assistant Manager Accounts)

She graduated from the Federal Polytechnic Ilaro, Ogun State in 2002 with HND in Accountancy with an Upper Credit. She is a member of the Accounting Technician Scheme AT, and an Associate Chartered Accountant both of the Institute Of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria. After graduation she trained with Muyiwa Oni & Co ( Chartered Accountants) where she rose from audit trainee to audit senior.

She developed interest and likeness for the capital market and now wroks with Omas Investment & Securities as Assistant Manager Accounts.

MISS EDEGHONGHON EDNA .I. (Head, Marketing)

She is the Head Of Company Special Products, holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from the University of Lagos. She joined the service of Omas Investment and Trust Company Limited in 2006.
